Chilli Paneer - South Indian Style.

This is perfectly a south indian version of chilli paneer. This recipe is super simple, all ingredients available in your pantry.
No need to search in any super stores.
I usually buy aavin paneer that is super soft and cheaper than the other brands.
This is my husband Venk’s recipe. He often makes it at home. I am diehard fan of this. I seriously dint think this is such simple one until I clicked the stepwise pictures while he was preparing this. Thanks Mr. Venk for the contribution to my blog.
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Marination Time : 30 mins
Cooking time : 5-10 mins
Ingrediants:
1.       Paneer – 200 Gram packet
2.       Curd – 2 tbsp
3.       Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
4.       Asafetida / perungayam – 1 pinch
5.       Pepper – ¼ tsp
6.       Chilli powder – ¼ tsp
7.       Corriander powder – ½ tsp
8.       Sambar powder  - ¼ - tsp
9.       Salt – to taste
10.   Oil – 2 tsp
Method:

Cut Paneer into cubes.
Add all the ingredients except oil in a bowl.  Coat all sides of Paneer with the masala. Freeze it for half an hour to marinate.
Spread oil in a skillet and heat it. Place the Paneer cubes in the skillet and roast it in medium heat. Flip the cubes to roast all the sides.
Serve it hot.
 Tips:
·         The proportion of the masala can be altered according to your taste.
·         Roast the Paneer in medium heat or lower heat, otherwise it will get burnt. You can use tooth pick to flip the sides.
