This is perfectly a south indian version of chilli paneer. This
recipe is super simple, all ingredients available in your pantry.

I usually buy aavin paneer
that is super soft and cheaper than the other brands.
This is my husband Venk’s recipe. He often makes it at home.
I am diehard fan of this. I seriously dint think this is such simple one until I
clicked the stepwise pictures while he was preparing this. Thanks Mr. Venk for

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Marination Time : 30 mins
Cooking time : 5-10 mins
Ingrediants:
1.
Paneer – 200 Gram packet
2.
Curd – 2 tbsp
3.
Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
4.
Asafetida / perungayam – 1 pinch
5.
Pepper – ¼ tsp
6.
Chilli powder – ¼ tsp
7.
Corriander powder – ½ tsp
8.
Sambar powder - ¼ - tsp
9.
Salt – to taste
10.
Oil – 2 tsp
Method:
Cut Paneer into cubes.
Add all the ingredients except oil in a bowl. Coat all sides of Paneer with the masala. Freeze
it for half an hour to marinate.
Spread oil in a skillet and heat it. Place the Paneer cubes
in the skillet and roast it in medium heat. Flip the cubes to roast all the
sides.
Serve it hot.
Tips:

The proportion of the masala can be altered
according to your taste.
·
Roast the Paneer in medium heat or lower heat,
otherwise it will get burnt. You can use tooth pick to flip the sides.
